3 iiii’m just gonna put this out there. because people seem to be jumping to the conclusion that will is brother zachariah.
but i actually think he’s jem.
just from the words he used. because he (i don’t think:/) talks about the herondales as if he is one, he talks about them as if he loves them.
natch. i never use this word and i’m actually excited that i just did.
which makes me really sad and upset and stuff because it means jem’s there and tessa’s there but that would mean that will….
meh. who knows with tid.
i mean, at the end of it, we could end up in some eternal love triangle because will’s actually part faerie and jem turns into a vampire.
oh wait. never mind. i think that cols definitely revealed to us that one of them dies, didn’t it magnus.

This is me all over.
And frankly, I hate the fact that now the whole world is all, OMG. THG.
It completely takes away from the powerful meanings and themes behind it; sacrifice, hope and fighting for freedom.
Because the same happened with HP. It’s always been big, but after the last film came out, a load of kids near where I live started claiming to love the series, pretending to duel each other, muttering unforgivables under their breath, and completely missing the point that this series was, essentially, about the boy who loved, and how that saw him through.
It completely cheapens powerful, beautiful stories when crazy fangirls don’t properly understand the meanings and thoughts behind them, and it irritates me more than anything.

Everything on the Will Herondale tag makes me want to cry because I can’t stop thinking about what a beautiful, misunderstood, tortured soul he is, but I need my Will Herondale fix and it’s just a vicious cycle of heartache.

Because he is beautiful and selfless and it upsets me on a major level that he isn’t happy.
And I love Jem too.

i just read an article that was on about the selection, and claimed it shared ‘the girly aspects’ of HG.
please excuse me, famous newspaper, but i personally did not believe that dressing up the tributes before you killed them was girly. in fact, i’d’ve called it disgusting, horrific and barbaric.
neither would i have said that the love triangle is lost amongst the blood. i mean, helloooo, it’s not a freakin’ romance novel. it’s a story about a girl who starts a war, and loses pretty much everyone because of it.
urgh. rant over.
